Visitor Arrangements

Visitor access to the Embassy is by appointment only. All visitors must present current photographic identification (e.g. passport, driving licence).

Visitors with an appointment should advise the reception desk of their arrival.

Visitors without an appointment should call 7013-3001 to make an appointment or email [email protected]. This includes passport and consular emergencies.

Please note that only visitors with an appointment are permitted access to the Embassy (with the exception of unsupervised minors who may accompany their parent/guardian).

Passports and Consular Notarial Services

Passport appointments and Consular Notarial Services are available between 9.30am – 12.30pm Monday to Thursday.

Immigration & Visas

The Australian Embassy in Mongolia does not issue Australian visas or approve Australian citizenship.

The Department of Home Affairs is responsible for managing Australian visa and citizenship matters.
